# Get the process uptime in nanoseconds

> Measure how long the current `bun` process has been running in nanoseconds with `Bun.nanoseconds()`.

Use `Bun.nanoseconds()` to get the total number of nanoseconds the `bun` process has been alive.

Bun.nanoseconds();
